Carolinas Society for Healthcare Education Training

About US

The Carolinas Society for Healthcare Education & Training was formed by and for a group of healthcare educators from the two Carolinas in 1972. The efforts of CSHET’s founders have proven to be very worthwhile as the organization continues to grow rapidly, closely paralleling the growth in the field of healthcare education.

ORGANIZATION

The Carolinas Society for Healthcare Education & Training is governed by an eight-member Executive Board composed of a President, a President-Elect, the Immediate Past President, a Secretary, a Treasurer, and three (3) Directors (one from each state and one at large). The officers are elected from alternating states. The Executive Board provides management and direction for the Society as well as long-range planning. The organization is highly responsive to the needs of the membership, and membership surveys provide the basis for CSHET activities.
