CSHET believes that well-trained and educated healthcare personnel are the key to success in the healthcare field both for the individual and the institution delivering that care.

           In view of this belief, CSHET

• Assesses the needs of its members and provides programs and materials to meet those needs.

• Encourages and implements programs for professional development and recognition of its members.

• Directs education toward the achievement of personal and institutional goals.

• Establishes liaisons with other professional societies involved in education and training.

• Endorses voluntary continuing education for all healthcare professionals.
